We invite prospective families to come and explore the learning environment we offer. Our school provides opportunities for enrolment at any stage of the year. We conduct school tours and meet with all prospective families.
Roxburgh Park Primary School is committed to welcoming all the new Foundation/Prep students and their families to the school community and to make the transition to school a positive experience.
Individual Family Meet and greets:
Getting to know all our families it important and vital for a smooth transition into school life.
In Term 3 all enrolled families will be invited to meet one-on-one with a member of staff where we can have a chat about your needs and/or concerns and get to know us a little more.
The Foundation/Prep Transition program traditionally runs in Term 4 in the year preceding school entry.
These sessions provide an opportunity for Foundation/Prep students to participate in a variety of engaging Literacy and Numeracy activities along with exploring the classroom environment. They are designed to prepare children for primary school and help them feel more confident about what to expect at school.
It is recommended that your child attends all four sessions. Dates for 2022 Transition are yet to be confirmed.
For Australian born students, we will need a current Immunisation Summary and an original birth certificate for your child.
For International born students, we will require a Passport, current Visa Sub-Class and an Immunisation Certificate. Please note, students holding certain types of visas need to be enrolled via the International Student Unit. If you require an Immunisation Certificate, please logon to Medicare to download.
