Roxburgh Park Primary: Colour Run!

Our whole school Colour Run was a fantastic way to finish off Term One. Students from every grade gathered on the oval and took off in waves around the course. Throughout the course there were many colour stations where some students ran fast and avoided the colour, while others stopped, danced and covered themselves in a rainbow of colours.

The Student Action Team have been raising money for additional student activities. With the basketball court complete, this year’s fundraising efforts will go towards the next project. Students across the school will be surveyed to decide what it will be. The highest fundraisers were able to slime two of the teachers.

“It is such a great way to finish off the term, seeing the whole school participating in an active event combined with some fantastic weather, everyone left with  a smile. I think the sliming of Mr Penhall and myself will be remembered by everyone there,” explained Mr Hanson.

At the end of Term Two we will have the Maths Amazing Race event and at the end of Term Three we will have the KABOOM sports activities.
