Science Week at RPPS

This year, Roxburgh Park Primary School is adding an exciting twist to Science Week by blending the thrill of the Olympics with the wonder of STEM. In celebration of the 2024 Paris Olympics, we’re hosting our own Olympic Games, designed to engage students in hands-on activities that merge sports with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Each cohort will dive into activities that showcase how STEM principles underpin athletic performance and sports technology. From engineering their own mini sports gear to exploring the physics of movement and energy, students will experience firsthand the synergy between STEM and sports. These tailored activities are designed to ignite curiosity and encourage creative problem-solving, all while having a blast!
